Inaccurate Listing, Dirty & Unkept

Could have / should have been great BUT Traveling with two 6’5” family members; one was quite perturbed to learn the listing boasted two king size beds when there was only one on property. (Still incorrect 8 days after I reported it to the management company.) Ants, spiders and dirty shower curtain! The portable air conditioners are insufficient for summer heat. The pool house smells of mildew and is unusable as a bedroom

Nice Fit for our Family

The four different units worked very well for our family of 8 adults, 3 teens and 1 pre-teen, providing both comfort and privacy needed. The main house was well-equipped and allowed us to gather together, especially for dining. The pool offered a beautiful background for our family photo, and the hot tub was enjoyed by many after it was cleaned.

Wonderful celebration with kids and grandkids for a 75th birthday.. San Antonio Estate was a perfect venue.. bedrooms in the main house and casita for more privacy.. lovely pool and hot tub ., gathering space for meals.. some furniture could use an upgrade .. outside patios a little more love.. and attention but overall we had a great time and the Estate was ideal. Our hosts gave us champagne which added to our celebration., thanks much

Family gathering

This was a good set up for our family gathering. Parts of the property such as access to the pool require climbing stairs without railing which limited our senior members access. Lots of mosquitos bring your bug spray. Great family gathering spaces and individual private quarters was ideal for our group.

Beautiful spot for large family gathering

Great weekend, everyone had space to have privacy while still being able to connect in the shared common areas. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained, and the communication with the property management was very timely and helpful. A bit close to the 101 so you can’t really walk anywhere from the property but it’s close enough to drive to other natural areas.

Visit to Spain

First class accommodations. Met our needs of a large family gathering. A couple of things need some work: the dryer, the outside sound system, the grill, etc., but for the most part, a professional, relaxing retreat for our family. Enjoyed it immensely!

Great property. A little run down. Too close to traffic. had a wonderful time. Kids loved pool and hot tub! Thank y ou for ac unit in casita. That saved the day. needs more dishes and silverware in big house.

Anniversary party

We celebrated my parents 50 year anniversary. The house was perfect. The house was clean and spacious. Had dinners at the large dining room table. Everyone enjoyed the pool. We would book again!

Ecstatic about the Estate

We were surprised and Delighted when we arrived. The space and layout was just what we needed. The pool space was fantastic for hosting our family. We felt the accommodations were clean and user friendly. I look forward to when we can book this again.

Not for us

We were furious when we arrived. 5 garbage cans were filled with garbage and there were MAGGOTS around the garbage cans. Not cool with 2 preschoolers. Not for people with mobility challenges or small kids. Exterior Stairs were uneven, sloped and had no railing. Requested pool heat 2 mos. In advance- told 1 week before trip that heater was broke, and not fixable in time and we could not cancel our trip. Fire extinguisher by fire place outside was empty (no extinguishers near inside fireplaces). Several Windows were inoperable, some stuck open, some stuck closed, and many screens were missing which led to lots of mosquito bites. The beautiful fountains were dry and had lots of leaves and dirt in them. There was a lack of any instructions for appliances, gas fireplaces, supply location, etc. Having said that. The property is beautiful and very relaxing. We were just disappointed that the maintenance was lacking. The maintenance man spent about 2 hours there on our second day trying to get the windows fixed. We would not stay again because the pool can only be accessed by stairs with no safety rail. Also, I feel like we were duped. They had charged us $500 to heat the pool for 3 days. They kept our money for 2 months, then told me a week before the trip that our $ was being refunded . I would not have booked without a heated pool.
