Beautiful 12 acre retreat with game room - great for families!

Plan your escape from it all at our log home retreat situated on 12 acres featuring woods, pond, creek, trails, garage game room and more. Located minutes from all the Hocking Hills attractions including Old Man's Cave, hiking, canoeing, zip lines, horse back riding, ATV trails and so much more. This fully stocked home away from home has 2 private queen bedrooms, a sleeper loft with 4 twin beds and an additional queen sleeper sofa in the family room. The master bedroom features a private, walk-out porch overlooking the stocked 1/4 acre pond. Enjoy all that nature has to offer from the screened-in porch, deck or concrete patio. Hot tub seats 6. Backyard fire pit perfect for enjoying starry nights with friends and family. Property features a concrete basketball court, game room in garage including ping pong, pool, foosball, carpetball, bean bag toss and more. Perfect for families!

Words can not describe nor do pictures do any justice. Very beautiful property and home. Home owners very responsive when messaged. Ease of check in and out, quiet peaceful, deer in back yard, trail in back of property great for walking or bikes. About 20 minutes to Hocking Hills and maybe 5 minutes at the most to a Dollar General, Save-A-Lot very anything you forgot at home but rest assure the homeowners have all those small things to make stay comfortable. Definitely would go again

The cabin was great. Very clean and had everything you need. We cooked every night and had all the pots, pans and utensils needed. Kids had fun fishing in the pond catching sunfish and small bass. Cabin is located close to town and amenities.

Fantastic rental! Stocked with everything you could need. We had one issue while we were there, and the owner could not have been more accomidating to fix the issue. Very easy to communicate with. We would recommend this place to anyone! We are already talking about booking it again!

We absolutely loved this cabin! The garage full of games were so much fun--never heard of carpetball but my family was obsessed. The backyard was so peaceful. The cabin was clean and had everything you needed. It was nice to make dinner a couple of days. Very close to all hiking trails. Highly recommend.

Great home good location ..games in garage & games & DVD’s in home..hooks in bathrooms & halls..warm shower..great fire pit with nice chairs..well stocked with towels washcloths paper towels TP..clean bedding..great directions & area info..It was surface clean but could use deep cleaning ie: rails to loft needed cleaning..vent in master bath.. dirt & grass in freezer..probably from icebag being dropped on ground to break up. Dishwasher soap dispenser was stuck or had not been run so some of the dishes in cupboard were dirty. Middle ceiling fan was progressively wobbling more & making noises so we chose not to use it the last night..AC was great! Loft could use hooks or bars for clothing.. & end table for beds. Overall it’s a beautiful home in a beautiful peaceful setting.. reasonably priced.. good location. Would highly recommend! …watched a fawn bounding through the tall grass beyond the back yard! We enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

Just Fabulous!

We have stayed here several times. The host, Jim, is always great with communication. The cabin is just awesome. We come down to visit my daughter at OU and it is a quick 20 min drive from here. Plenty of space to spread out and so much more reasonable than the crazy prices in Athens for the same weekend. Besides there isn’t any pace for my son to fish there any way :) Always a great time - can’t wait to come back. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

Perfect getaway

Me and a group of friends got to stay here for a weekend and everything was perfect. The cabin was very clean and the garage had plenty of games for everyone. It was a perfect and comfortable place. The location of the cabin was very convenient. Would recommend this place to anybody!

Beautiful property and wonderful hosts!

We booked this gorgeous property for Valentines Weekend with 2 other couples for a quiet weekend getaway. Before we even arrived, the host offered extra time to check out based on predicted weather. We had rain in Logan, and lots of snow back home in Mansfield! The communication with them was immaculate and we really appreciated the option to take longer to check out if needed. The property was gorgeous and the garage was such a fun space for the guys to sneak away to! Highly recommend this property, and we plan to come back!

The only thing was the beds were very hard, could use some upgrades on furniture. We weren't able to use the game room since it was too cold. The location and house itself was beautiful. Would stay again if furniture gets updated.

Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin

Everythig was great! The kithchen was well equipped and the house and surroundings were clean and enjoyable. Close to town with lots of outdoor/indoor activities.
