I stayed at this property for my first and last night of my holiday. I made a mistake choosing a property near the airport because it was too far away from Athens Centre. The first night neither the kitchen bin nor toilet bin had been emptied. The last night was ok but I had to take my heavy suitcase down a few steps because there are no other rooms without steps. The property was clean, the kitchen basic but ok. I wouldnt choose to stay there again and would choose to stay in central Athens in future.in futucentre.

It was a lovely unit. However, the beds were very low quality. Also, when making transport reservations, make sure to give the exact number or they will give you problems. We had to take a taxi in the morning because they did not have enough room for us because our numbers changed. The air conditioning was wonderful.

Had a layover and booked the hotel last minute. They were so quick to respond and accommodate an early check in since we did not spend the night. Also offered different times for shuttle service back to airport! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay before needing to head to the airport. Free transportation to and from the hotel was super convenient and very timely. Bed isn’t the most comfortable though.

Convenient Location Near Airport, But Serious Safety and Comfort Concerns I stayed at GK Mediterranean Village – Airport Shuttle for two nights, June 17–18, 2025. While the location and basic amenities were convenient, several issues made the stay uncomfortable and raised safety concerns that future travelers should be aware of — and which I hope the property owners take seriously. Pros: Excellent proximity to the airport (about a 10-minute drive) Free airport pickup, which was on time and appreciated Room was clean upon arrival Strong air conditioning A pleasant coffee shop just a block away Restaurants are within a 10-minute walk WiFi worked well throughout the stay Cons: No elevator and no warning provided when booking. Our room was on the 2nd floor, up a steep staircase, with no ramp or lift — very difficult to manage with two large suitcases after a long international trip. Overly complicated key situation: A code is required to open a lockbox to retrieve the room key Separate keys for the front gate, main building, room, and room lock Key is required to exit the room, the building, and the front gate — which presents a serious fire and safety hazard No smoke detectors in the room, adding to the safety concern Shower water temperature extremely hot, with no anti-scald protection No bottled water provided — only local tap water The bed was extremely firm, beyond what most travelers would consider comfortable No phone in the room, and no reception on site

Beautiful gem of a property revealed when opening the locked gate into the beautiful courtyard . Extremely clean and appears newly renovated/ furnished. Location of property was in an area that appeared to be in transition, abit unkept, but close enough to some lovely local restaurants. Included airport transfer has very limited hours but only 20 euros to take a taxi to airport.

Clean and comfortable rooms with arranged shuttle service. Everything went smoothly. Good value for the money. The bed was firmer than I care for but we still slept well enough.
