We had a very pleasant stay at MiraMe Athens Boutique Hotel – House of Gastronomy. The location is excellent, close to everything, and the view of the Acropolis is absolutely stunning — especially from the rooms and rooftop area. The ambiance of the hotel was lovely, and the receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming.
That said, there are a couple of small details that could be improved. The elevator was a bit confusing at first — it has a double door and no "push" sign, so we thought we were stuck, which honestly was a bit scary. A simple sign or a quick explanation from the staff would make a big difference in that experience. Also, the elevator is very narrow, and not ideal for those who feel claustrophobic.
Additionally, we were looking forward to dining at the rooftop restaurant, but unfortunately, it was closed during our stay, and we were not informed in advance. We had to change our dinner plans last minute, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, though, it’s a beautiful boutique hotel with a great vibe and unbeatable views. We'd recommend it — just with those two small heads-ups in mind!
