We loved the charm of the hotel, our balcony overlooking the square. We ate dinner at an open air restaurant mere feet from the front door!! It was amazing!

Over 200 years old but very comfortable with modern amenities. Staff very helpful arranging transportation. In the Plaka area full restaurants and a short walk to the Acropolis. We had little balconies.

Super location. Friendly staff. Good comfortable bed. Caution- this hotel has no elevator but staff will carry your bags to your room. You must manage your climbing the stairs to and from your room.

Very comfortable and exactly the simplicity I needed. Super happy with my stay. The only downside was noise, it can be quite loud at night with people coming in and out. My room (a standard with queen bed) was on the same level as the check in desk, so anytime any guests came in or out it woke me up, but it wasnt horrible since there are only a few rooms. Would def stay again since this was in the heart of plaka. It was so convenient to walk to the meet up locations of my activities. Bed was comfy!

Another fabulous stay in Greece! If you’re visiting the Plaka area of Athens, be sure to check out this hotel — it’s right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk everywhere, visiting all the major sights without ever needing a taxi. We loved strolling through the shops, enjoying the tavernas, and experiencing the lively nightlife. While we stayed in Plaka, we often found ourselves in Monastiraki as well, exploring its many shops and restaurants. There’s so much to see and do — plan a few days to truly take it all in. We can’t wait to return! Our room was amazing and had open rollout windows overlooking Plaka streets and Parthenon views were fantastic . Coffee you say?? You have a fully equipped kitchen with espresso maker and tea if that’s your thing.. I really felt like I was staying with family .. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location was amazing -- an amazing eating square was literally outside our door, and their were hundreds of cafes and little shops all around. Hadrian's gate is at the end of the street and old town is right there, too. The staff were also very kind (we came in super early and they stored our suitcases so we could do a tour before our room was ready), they arranged a car back to the airport for us, and had special Easter candles in our room. They were incredibly helpful and kind!!

Just stayed here for 5 nights. Our room was on the third floor - so if stairs aren't your thing - that would be something to ask about ahead of time! Staff was great, room was nice, it was nice having coffee/tea available in the kitchen. The guys working carried our bags for us (bless them!). Really easy location for Acropolis/Plaka/Acropolis museum. Lots of dining choices nearby. All in all a great stay. And our shower was very nice (hot water, great pressure!)
