It was a wonderful stay, although it rained the entire time, so we weren't able to enjoy the beautiful courtyard, which was a big draw to this property (no fault of the hotel!). The rooms are nice, and ours was spacious. There is very little closet space, especially for hanging items. Since it is an old hotel, the ceilings are low and the bathrooms are a little tight. Not a huge problem, but important to note, especially if you have a big and tall partner like mine. The room also didn't have any information about the hotel or amenities on the property, not even a notepad! It seemed a smidge odd, but maybe something that was overlooked in our room. The speakeasy, May Peel, was nice, and the first-floor bar was delightful. It was difficult getting service in the restaurant, so we opted for dining off-property. The front desk staff were super nice! Very cute place!
