I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. As a frequent guest of Sonesta Hotels, I’ve come to expect a certain level of comfort and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience during my stay from May 23rd to May 25th was far below that standard—and quite honestly, it was the worst I’ve ever had at a Sonesta location.
Upon checking in at 3:00 PM on May 23rd, we were immediately met with loud and disruptive construction noise. Drilling continued for at least two and a half hours, which made it impossible to relax after a long day of travel. No prior notice was given about ongoing construction, which would have been courteous and expected in this situation.
Additionally, the hotel was hosting an event during our stay, and the environment was extremely chaotic. Throughout both nights, the noise levels were unacceptable—children were running through the hallways and lobby late into the night, and neighboring rooms were excessively loud. We were forced to call security multiple times to address the disturbances, but the issue persisted, making restful sleep nearly impossible.
The lack of consideration for guest comfort, combined with poor noise control and ineffective security response, left us extremely dissatisfied. I am confident we were not the only guests who experienced these issues, and I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously.
