“The stay was superb. The place is incredibly quiet with where it's positioned at the rear of the property. Extremely clean, very comfortable king sized bed, all the kitchen amenities we needed and felt extremely welcomed upon our arrival. It made for a lovely weekend getaway with so many local walks, places too see and multiple shops and pubs close by. Also having full access to the grounds and garden was a gorgeous addition also. 10/10, Couldn't improve on it, Will definitely be staying again. ”

“The Shepherd’s Hut was ideal. We could walk to Loddon easily along the river, it was very close but also super quiet and relaxing. In the evenings we sat outside hearing the birds, incl a cuckoo and watched the barn owl in the field behind. I know!! :)The cottage was really clean and comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. Paul & Sandra popped by and were so friendly and lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Shepherds Hut to everyone. ”

“3 families (6 adults and rest teenagers / kids) get together for 4 nights Had supermarket deliver for first night and spent the rest of the week enjoying each others company ! The kids loved the games room, swimming pool , we set up badminton and was other garden games too - we spent evenings playing bored games, so much quality time and phones / tablets hardly touched !! Plenty of space to spread out too and spend time alone or with different groups of people ! We also had enough space……

“Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days……

“Great place to stay with dogs. Nice rooms and a kitchen. They also provide EV Car charging which I took advantage of for £20/day. This property does not come up on the Hotels.com search filter for EV charging locations. ”
