“This home was absolutely beautiful! Clean and spacious. Plenty of room. Large kitchen where we were never in each other's way. The living room fireplace/wood stove is decorative only, which we were disappointed about but it IS mentioned in the listing. It's just further down and we hadn't noticed it previously. It's ok, we just played a fire on YouTube instead and it was great. We loved the huge back deck and gathering around the outdoor fireplace at night. So pretty!It's secluded but not……

“We picked this place because it was economical and in a great location within 6 great waterfall trails. It's a tiny intimate cabin with basic amenities The host is responsive and the area is quiet. The maintenance staff is a couple of Tennessee good ole boys. A couple of things to recommend if you are going to stay here. At sunset take a walk down the lane behind the cabin and go watch it in the gazebo, its a beautiful site. If you are getting groceries to cook dinner in the cabins, get them in……

“Hurricane Marina is the middle of middle Tennessee and the perfect location for your getaway. The house is comfortable, homey, has everything you need and is a great jumping off point for exploring, lakes, state parks and Nashville. ”

“We stayed at this home with the intention of using it as our home base for excursions to a few state parks to hit some biking / hiking trails. Our stay was early spring, so the community pool wasn't open yet, but the boys had fun biking up and down the road to the pool location and the home was big enough for them to play hide-and-seek indoors (it got a bit chilly once the sun went down - again, we were there in early spring). “We loved the location putting us less than all and childan hour out of Nashville. The set up on the river was phenomenal even if we did not get full use of the facilities due to flooding at the time. I would caution people with small children that they would need constant supervision due to the river and steep faces leading to it, but I would definitely recommend and use this property again if in the area.”

“Very relaxing trip for the holidays. House was lovely and just the right size for our group of six and our dogs. It was what we needed after a several hard years and losses in our family. Would recommend a tv in the single upstairs bedroom just for parents trying to get some peace from their grown children’s choices:). It was perfect though!”
