“During my week in Auroville, this was our favourite stay. Seaview, and great roof top terrace good both for excersise and stargazing. Appreciated the small touches like kettle with complementary tea and coffee, toilet paper and daily cleaning. “The hotel has a tiny reception. When we arrived he told us there will be a wait time of 4 hours before getting a room. After I told him I’m ready to pay to get the room now, he made a room available within 20 min. The room while it was “cleaned” was not really clean as the hotel has issues of smell and humidity due tu the swimming pool inside the suite. The hotel reception behavior was pathetic! We had need up checking out even if we paid for 2 days (no money returned or even offered). I……

“There was no kitchen/restaurant at the hotel. They wouldn't provide towels or fresh sheets or even water. They didn't even have any soap/shampoo/creams (basics) in the bathrooms. They had some snacks. The pool was okay. Too basic.”
