Catalina isn't inexpensive destination so finding this property to rent for a few nights really helped stretch the budget. It was on the smaller size but for the money a great value! Walking distance close to restaurants, shops, and the beach made needing a golf cart to get around not necessary. Front desk was accommodating with towels, tissue paper, and filtered water at no charge. The rooftop features a wonderful city view balcony with comfy seating. The only downside for me was a firm bed with a frame that extends past the mattress (tough on a knee!) and occasional street noise. Overall, a good choice if you want to save some bucks with a clean place close to everything.

Construction so it was noisy. Could not hear the lady checking us in. Top floor for viewing was closed. Dark in the. Alley. Small room, bed creaked with every move. Needs updating!

We were actually upgraded to the Sand Castle Cottage next door since renovations were occurring at the Sea Crest Inn itself. It was a charming, eclectic & pleasant throwback to the beach cottage days of yore & we really enjoyed the stay. Amber gave us some island history at checkin & Michael let us stay a bit later than normal checkout time to wait for our Cat Express out of the rain. Literally a block from all the shops, & 2 blocks from the ferry & local Vons grocery store, so super convenient. The street gets a bit loud & busy during the day, but quiets down past about 8:30pm. Definitely enjoyed our stay & would happily stay again!
