This B&B had old world charm and was in a great location. Veronique & Fabrice were great hosts. They provided a map and recommendations for good places to eat. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The breakfast was good and one day they accommodated us for an early breakfast request.

Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location.

A fantastic hotel/bed and breakfast! The hosts are super nice, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to everything including public the pope’s palace and parking. Hosts Véronique and Fabrice were warm and helpful, with great recommendations for local restaurants. Homemade yogurt, jam, and muesli made for a wonderful breakfast each morning. The house is historic and beautiful, with nice common areas and a wonderful rooftop terrasse. Perfect location in the old town, easy walking distance to Avignon's historic sites.

We spent 2 nights in this lovely, historic guesthouse in the centre of Avignon. The hosts were very welcoming. They could not have been more helpful. For example they provided us with information on what to see and where to eat in the town.
