“Our team of 15 teachers stayed for one night while up North on a professional development weekend. The house was a convenient location and a good size. Our only disappointment was that some rooms were locked meaning that our teachers had to share beds. We had anticipated that the entire house would be available to us and therefore extra beds and bedrooms in the cottage. Other than that we had a lovely stay. The home is spacious with a lovely garden outlook. The kitchen is very basically equipped……

“Nostalgic Privilege! 280 degree front views of the moana, acres of lush green yonder with hahi, urupā, te waka aa kaihao and peaceful tranquility. Pickering Cottage stay was clean, with cosy nooks, traditional cuboards and their fittings, slanted walls, drift wood curtain rods and door handles. Traditional side draws and dining furnisher, no wall paper present with my favourite being the wide KAURI floors. WOW!! Enjoyed the huge washing utility room that housed everything from washing……

“Good central location for the places we wanted to visit. Perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day. Nice to have milk in the fridge to make a hot drink on arrival. Everything was perfect for us.”

“Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, including some games and story books for the kids. Room to kick a ball around, chickens to visit and dogs to play fetch with. Happy memories. We look forward to coming back again one day.”

“A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail.”

“Nestling in an orange orchard, DoLittle Cottage is a superb place for a relaxing break. Claes is a great host and you are made to feel very welcome upon arrival (including oranges in the fruit bowl). The accommodation is clean and very well appointed with all of the essential amenities. This is a gem in the Kerikeri area and I would highly recommend this accommodation to any solo traveller or couple. DoLittle Cottage should not be missed.”
