Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a ground level room and appreciated not having to carry our luggage up stairs. Breakfast was typical fare and the coffee was very good. The town area is a short walk away. We would stay again.

We were unfortunately stuck in a fire A5 which delayed us by 3 1/2 hours. Stephan was very kind to check us in several hours after he closed. It was very fun to stay right in the quaint town of Bacharach. Very easy walk to the main street.

Nun, der Name irritiert etwas: mit einem Winzerbetrieb oder ähnlichem hat das Haus nichts zu tun außer dass es eben in einer Weingegend liegt. Es ist ein Privathaus aus den 80ern ohne Charme. Die Gastgeber geben sich Mühe, das Zimmer waren früher 2 Zimmer die zusammengelegt wurden. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, an und unter den Fenstern waren kleine Mitbewohner die wir schnell ins Freie beförderten oder dann ignorierten. Für eine Nacht tut es das schon, für mehrere Nächte ein No Go .

We loved our stay at Winzerhaus. Stefan and Sybille were friendly, kind and attentive. The location was beautiful and very convenient for where we wanted to be based. The room was lovely, and nice to have a little balcony to sit out on each morning. The breakfast was fab and good value too. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Hotel is quite an uphill climb from downtown and train station. Stephan graciously volunteered to transport us and our baggage, between train station and hotel, on travel days. He and his wife are quite cordial. Our rooms were austere and, frankly, cold in early June nights. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Stefan and Sybille are wonderful host. Hotel has onsite parking. 10 min walk to Bacharach town center. Great value. He has known Rick Steves for 25 years.
