“Excellent staff at check-in. Helpful with suggestions. Cleaning staff was a bit inconsistent with replenishing cups, towels, tea, sugar etc. Very small fridge in room but it was not very cold. No microwave. Comfortable bed with warm duvets. Very close to train station and trams. East to get around without car. Confirmed hotel stay alllows free transit within Basel. Does have a very expensive breakfast but we opted to do our own. Only surprise was a city tax of 4 CHF per person per day charged at……

“It's very closed to the train station. Just 150 meter.And the hotel provide the free bus tickets for each guest. There is a small mini bar in the hotel that provide some soft drinks free charge. I also had stayed in Victory hotel which just beside the hotel. Both are similar.”

“Lovely hotel in centre of Basel. Nice staff, nice breakfast (extra) and free mini bar (not re stocked during stay which was a shame). Only irritation - very noisy of a weekend as hotel is right on Main Street on top of bars. Woke on Saturday night / Sunday morning by a brawl outside window. To be fair hotel make you aware of risk of noise - but only after you have booked it. Nice place tho and very pleasant rooms and very comfortable with pleasant open plan design. ”
