“Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip.”

“This property is completely incompetent. Don't let their info on their website fool you they are open 2:30-9 to let you in. I came at a responsible time for check in at 5:30, waited 30 minutes and no one to let you in. Of course they are not accountable for not being there to let you in. They want to charge you for the fact you couldn't get in to stay there. It is very hard to find, took 3 different GPS methods to find it, then when you found it gates closed with chickens squaking at you.”

“Das Chateau liegt mitten in Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und mit dem Auto doch nicht weit von Bordeaux entfernt. Wir empfehlen jedoch sehr, ein Auto zu nehmen. Das Personal ist durchgängig sehr professionell, vom Empfang, bis Restaurant und auch House Keeping. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt an einem Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ebenfalls das Restaurant, welches über zwei Michelin-Sterne verfügt und von Herrn Schilling aus dem Elsass geführt wird. ”

“This was our best stay during our tour of France and Switzerland. Delphine, the owner left a career in television in Paris to pursue her dream of running a guest house and she does this to a very high standard. We are clearly talking a labour of love here.
