“What an amazing location. It seems a little out of place in the surrounding area but it is like an oasis in the desert. Located actually on the river, the hotel is a converted mill house full of period charm and character. The rooms were comfortable, with a few quirks, but very spacious and some have beautiful views. “Really good despite the weather. No evening meal but lots of restaurants close by. Night entrance meant that you could enter hotel as late as you wanted. Beautiful village. Lots of places to visit nearby, staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking, either right outside the hotel or in the square. We used the hotel as a base to go sightseeing and as such it suited us fine. Highly recommended. ”
