“We loved the cozy homey-ness of the cottage. Everything we needed was there and working so well. It was great to be able to take a short walk along the river and to town... very close to Barley Brown's (a favorite pub). ”

“This property is very close to everything and well stocked for our stay. It needs work however. The front bath needs remodeling, we just used the main bathroom. The claw foot tub is a bit high. Older people may not be able to use it easily. There is a tenant upstairs which was a surprise to us. We learned about them when we were headed home at the end of our stay. The twin beds had been joined together and we could not get them apart. So there technically is one Queen, one King and the……

“the house was as described and very cozy. The hot tub was so wonderful to use after a long day of skiing and driving. We watched movies as a group on the large red couch and chair area and enjoyed the really nice sound system. The kitchen was large and we were able to cook meals and enjoy time together there. Overall just an excellent stay. When we ran out of dishwasher tabs they brought more over promptly. The owners were very communicative. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

The home itself was very clean and so cool with all the history and old charm. My family loves history and enjoyed the books about the original owners. The hosts were great, easy to communicate with and reasonable with request, allowing us to have a Thanksgiving gathering at the home. The house was very well stocked with necessities……
