“Absolutely perfect little home to just get away and enjoy the sights of Norway! Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little……

“It was very nice to have an apartment in such a beautiful well maintained old house. We enjoyed the tranquility. The view from the balcony on the fjord was fantastic. Likewise from the 'towerroom'. Balestrand is a good base for excursions in the area, walks and visits to museums. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Ingrid”

“This is a lovely spot.  The cabin is set into the side of a ridge with forest at the back.  The front wall of windows and deck look out about a kilometer, over fields and the village, to the Sognefjord.  During our stay with our teenaged granddaughter in early June, the wildflowers were everywhere, and the forest was  a misty J.R.R.
