The bathroom, toilet and bed are in the same space. Carrying luggage will pass through a large dining space. There is no parking lot.

Lovely decor and historical pub. Great location in the heart of Ballarat. My room for some reason was very nosy and I could hear people talking quite loudly for most of the night. The other fault was my room’s temperature which was more like a sauna than a room.

Unfortunately our one night stay started very badly,after being asked to park out front and to enter hotel to check in and then put our car in their car park. In that 10-15 min we received a parking fine. Receptionist who spoke on phone upon arriving to hotel and told me to park out front should have warned us. Ruined our whole experience and one night getaway, staff didn’t care !

Beautiful old hotel. Restaurant meals were great & reasonably priced. My room was large, bed comfortable, hugh bathroom with bathtub & separate shower. Only issue was the hum from aircon unit outside my window, but after a wine, or two, this was no problem. But if you are a light sleeper request a room away from street & external aircon units. Will stay again as it really is a special place.

Our stay at Craig's Royal Hotel was fantastic. The welcome from the front desk was warm and they helped us out with an early checkin too. The room was well furnished and beds very comfortable. Perfect location for exploring Ballarat. The hotel is showing it's age a little but it is very lovely, clean, and has a wonderful old world charm.

A poor, old and decrepit hotel that was certainly nice in its day but now lacks any basic maintenance. Management's attention is on the bar and slot machines. The welcome at reception was zero. All the carpets are old and broken. There were 2 large holes in the bathroom ceiling where you could see the pipes. Parking available for 10 AUD.

I loved staying at Craig’s. It was exactly what I needed. Room to rest and not see another person if you didn’t want to. Friendly staff and fabulous food.
