Very handy to Wicklow and my 2 nephews that were traveling with my brother and I enjoyed the beach and the open grassy areas where they could kick around their new soccer ball. The one big drawback for us was no WiFi or cellular service which in this day and age we depend on. We had gotten used to doing on line searches as we traveled Ireland to find points of interest in each area. Other than that it suited our needs. We had been staying in Air B&Bs up until we got……

“It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great.”

There was one hiccup with another gentleman booked for the same room, but they were quick to rectify the situation, and all parties were taken care of. We will be back!”

“The bungalow was immaculate with lots of skylights and windows. Very nice views of the garden thru the big back windows. Very short walk to Lismore’s Main Street, the castle and the river. All the comforts of home inside with tasteful decor. It was a perfect stay. I’ll be back!”

“We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The……
