“Others have mentioned the thoughtful touches like fresh baked bread and milk from their farm, but I want to reiterate how lovely it is to arrive to a home, not a house, where every detail has been lovingly thought of. John and Dierdre have truly created a special place that made us not want to leave. We loved our long walks on the property with only cows, green fields and the ocean in sight. I have stayed in many homes around the world but this is my new favorite. Thank you!”

“This was a great option for us because we were in Cork to drop my daughter off at UCC. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Having a full kitchen made eating so much easier and cheaper. Keep in mind that this is a dorm and is not a luxury accommodation. But, I would absolutely do it again.”

“This is a beautiful property with stunning views towards Kinsale. The property is very well located to a number of major sites. If you enjoy small Irish towns and countryside, you will love this location. Our children and grandchildren also enjoyed the sport field, trampoline and ping pong table. “Located next to the train station and near buses, The Dean is an easy walk into town. The Hotel is easy to access for day trips if driving. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. There is construction nearby, but we did not notice excessive noise and are light sleepers.”
