“The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. This is a place to be highly recommended and it comes with resident donkeys. One could not ask for more. Warmer and sunnier, maybe. But hey, it's Ireland! We did have some sun!”

“We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. “Can’t say enough about the house. Everything you need, clean and tastefully done. Waking distance to small town with restaurants and pubs. Close drive to many great locations. Highly recommended.”

“The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early”

“Sometimes you come across a place that deserves 6 stars and this is one of those places. Incredible location with an incredible host, thanks Gillian and family for looking after us for our two week stay. We already miss this cottage and can't wait to get back. Deer in the garden (if your up early enough), horse's to feed and birds to listen to. Relax infront of the fire with a book or make use of the strong wifi in every room.
