“We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. It is located in a scenic location with nice views out the windows and even sheep grazing quietly in the front yard. The owner was flexible with our check-in time and responsive to the questions we sent to him by text. We made use of the house's large and well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend staying here when in County Mayo.”
