“We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water……

“We stayed at jack duggan pub. It was clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation and really fun to have the bar. On a busy road so some traffic noise but with windows closed it was fine. The house is well stocked, our host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries. We went to the griffin for a nice pub dinner one night and the staff there were fabulous. ”

“The property was well presented, a little tired in areas but clean and comfortable. Some areas could do with improvement and basic fixings need replacing. TV’s weren’t connected up so we couldn’t watch tv, sky didn’t work. Netflix only option on main tv in living room. Little things that make a stay better could be easily and cheaply sorted. “My siblings and I brought our mother to Ireland for her 89th birthday. We were a group of 8. We rented the boathouse and it was even more beautiful than the pictures let on. The house was very clean and ready on time. Michelle was an amazing host meeting us the first day with home made scones and a chocolate hazelnut cake.
