“Fantastic hotel, golf and spa. House we stayed in needed some improvements and care.”

“We received a warm welcome from Eva and discovered a lovely basket of goodies and a well stocked kitchen on our arrival at the Hen House. Beds were comfy, water was hot and sitting area outside was nice after a long day sightseeing. Easy bus ride to Dublin and Howth made for a nice day trip and the Glasnevin Cemetery has an interesting tour that provides plenty of history. Both Eva and Ciaran (hosts) were readily available and happy to offer suggestions and provide info to ensure an interesting……

“We had the best time staying in the coach house at Durhamstown. It was charming, comfortable, and the best fun for our kids. They loved exploring the property and sharing their adventures with us. The hosts were incredibly kind. Dave showed us around the castle and welcomed us, and he and Sue had us over for a lovely evening after dinner one night. Navan is a charming town and we loved being close to the Hill of Tara and Newgrange, but also having easy access to Dublin. Can’t recommend this……

“Ample space for our family of five (4 adults 1 teenager) . Wonderful eat in kitchen, spacious family room with bonus office space. 2 modern bathrooms with power showers. The house was toasty warm and very comfortable. Walking distance to bus, grocery stores and bars and restaurants. Located in quiet small estate. This house was perfect for our needs and we would definitely book again. ”

“The property was very nice and new. Seems like it has been recently built. The location is convenient and near Dublin. The backyard and surrounding area is spacious. Everything was good except for a few essential issues: #1. One of the bedroom was hot, some reason it was very hot the entire time we were there. We were sweating in the bed while it's 50 degrees outside. We contacted the owner but nothing was done about it other than giving us directions how to set the thermostat. We tried……

The location was perfect: surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet with quiet, traffic-free roads that made getting to our daily destinations easy and stress-free. “We were in Ireland to drop our daughter off at UCD. We wanted a family home to stay in to relax, spend time together and be comfortable. This was the perfect place. We will be back again when we pick her up. It is beautifully decorated, next to adorable villages and we greeted the sheep every morning. Such a lovely home that we are sad to leave. ”

“Sfeervol en heel netjes. Gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Super leuk om bij een echt iers landhuis te verblijven met alle hedendaagse gemakken. Maynooth is leuke plaats, universiteitsgebouw heel mooi, veel winkels en mogelijk om met trein naar Dublin te gaan. ”
