“The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Apart from the house there were so many outdoor areas to relax in, verandahs on 3 sides, beautiful gardens and a fire pit area. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless and best of all stocked with freshly baked anzac biscuits,……

The location was fabulous and we enjoyed a perfect getaway, cycling the Great Victorian Rail Trail. ‘Tiny’ living was great fun and having the clear starry night sky and neighbouring donkey as our entertainment was fabulous and a welcome relief from City hub-bub! ”

“The property is lovely- very clean and the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped so you just need to bring food The atmosphere is all about relaxing and enjoying the countryside. We were 4 adults and 3 grandchildren under 8. There was plenty to keep the kids happy with games and books as well as the large enclosed yard with trees, cows nearby and a swing! All in all our 3 nights were so much fun”

“I loved the cottage and the peaceful and natural surrounds - it was blissful. So many added extras inside - too many to mention - but small nice touches and there's a coffee machine !! Pods match Nespresso ! Very happy. Beds comfy and warm. All the furniture inside and out good quality and comfy. The old "trani" was a nice touch. ONLY ONE let down - was the split system aircon/heater. It's old and not that efficient - we had temperatures of 2 degrees and we were cold - had to wrap ourselves……

“Not too far from Melbourne, but it felt like a million miles away! A great cottage, surrounded by paddocks and hills. Plentiful birdlife, which you could watch from the verandah that surrounds the house, or as you go on a casual stroll across the property. A large, extremely comfy bed. House has all the necessary modcons, but it feels like home.”
