Copperstones, is in quiet idyllic location amid rolling hills in the Cotswolds

Copperstones is a detached two bedroom stone built bungalow in a quiet lane, in the lovely picturesque village of Upper Brailes in South Warwickshire. Ideal location for visiting the Cotswolds and surrounding area. Including Stratford upon Avon, Chipping Campden and Oxford. Lovely area for walking and many historic houses and beautiful gardens in the area.

Off road parking for one or two cars.
Sorry no pets are allowed.

If you want to stay between 14 nights and 28nights please contact me to discuss rates.
Maximum stay 28 days.
Minimum stay is 3 nights & 4 nights at busier time of the year, however you can always contact me to see if I would accept 3 nights.

Accommodation
Traditional spacious interior providing home comforts. Fully carpeted living room and both bedrooms.
The front door leads into a hallway connecting with the living/dining room, kitchen and bedrooms. The living/dining room has a sliding door to the conservatory. New sofa & chairs ordered for the sitting room in November 2023 ready for 2024 season.
The kitchen is fitted with a fan oven and hob, fridge and microwave. An archway leads through to a utility area with washing machine and the central heating boiler.
The bathroom, it was fully refurbished in January 2016 and has a large walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet and a radiator.
Bedroom 1 is located at the front of the bungalow and is a large spacious room with double bed, wardrobe and chest of draws.
Bedroom 2 is found at the rear of the property and has two single beds There is a wardrobe and small chest of draws.
Outside the conservatory is a patio area. The garden is enclosed and has access to the land where the owners have their poultry and two donkeys.

People with walking/mobility/disabilities have stayed, if you wish to get further information regarding steps, access etc. please email me directly & I will give as much information as possible.

NOTE: Following the Pandemic I have instigated a gap of at least 24 hours between bookings to ensure your safety.

Beautiful cottage in perfect surroundings. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Great location for our daily outings to many villages in the Cotswolds. Great butcher shop and bakery in town and a short drive to a large grocery store. The sunroom was an added bonus as well as the patio. Had deer visit in the backyard several times early in the morning. Would love to come back

Lovely and Peaceful Stay
We loved the cozy and quiet cottage! The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the cake Zena left for us! The shower was fantastic, roomy and great water pressure!! The location is awesome, central to everything. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely and quiet
Great village and friendly locals the bungalow is in easy reach to get to the Cotswold villages etc. Our stay was very nice everything worked well. The furniture could do with a facelift 😊 and perhaps more cleaning products available. I recommend staying at Copperstones. Zena is lovely and communicates well.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche im sehr großzügigem Cottage Copperstone verbracht. Zur Begrüßung erhielten wir einen leckeren selbst gebackenen Kuchen von Zena. H Nochmals herzlichen Dank! In Küche und Haus ist alles zur Selbstversorgung vorhanden. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Zena und Chris sind sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Vermieter und wohnen direkt neben an. Die Kommunikation klappte prima. Wir haben die Ruhe und die ländlichen Gegend in den Cottswold sehr genossen. Die französische Bäckerei im Ort ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Einkaufen bieten sich die zahlreichen Farmshops an. Die beiden Esel haben sich auch immer über mitgebrachte Möhren und Streicheleinheiten gefreut. Da wir eine kühle Woche im August erwischt hatten, waren wir sehr froh über den schönen Wintergarten. Dort haben wir sehr gerne gegessen und zusammen gespielt. Herzlichen Dank an Zena und Chris!

Wonderful
Copperstones is an idyllic property if you are looking for quiet and relaxation. Its location is close enough to larger towns without spoiling the glorious views of the surrounding countryside. The bungalow itself is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very accommodating, very easy to communicate with, and very lovely people. We will for sure, be going back.

prima locatie in de cotswolds
De bungalow ligt in een rustig plaatsje. De auto kan er goed geparkeerd worden achter een hek. Er stond een cake klaar als welkom! De bedden zijn erg goed. De badkamer met inloopdouche is fijn. Het meubilair in de huiskamer is gedateerd en doet wat minder gezellig aan. De serre is fijn met de openslaande deuren. Het zitje buiten is vrij klein maar je kan er met z'n vieren zitten. Alleen jammer dat deze niet was schoongemaakt.

The perfect countryside retreat.
Copperstones is a lovely cosy bungalow in a beautiful rural setting. The Village it's set in has everything you need, a small newsagents and a fantastic bakery as well as a lovely village pub serving delicious food. It's perfectly located for lots of walks and to explore the many nearby Cotswold towns and villages. Zena and Chris were the perfect hosts and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming!

A Charming Cottage in the Cotswolds
