“The motel is very well decorated and clean inside. Outside is clean, but plain. It’s next to the railroad tracks so the train horn woke me up a few times, but my adult grandson slept through it. I’ll stay at Caribou Gem again if I’m in the area ”

“Hotel was excellent! Not much in the town, however, Lava Hot Springs is a short 10 miles away with plenty to do and restaurants. ”

“We love visiting Lava every year. Last year we found a last minute booking at the home hotel. It’s a little older than some of the hotels but Tracy (front desk) made it awesome. We were so happy when she called the day before our booking to make sure we were coming. The only thing I asked is if she was going to be there . She truly makes it feel like you are staying with relatives - all the good parts, none of the annoying parts. Thanks Tracy and we hope to see you next year. ”

“Loved everything about this inn! The Romeo and Juliet suite was beautiful and romantic. We felt very welcomed at the front desk and when we stepped into the room. The details in the artwork and finishes were very exquisite and appreciated. The whole space was meticulously clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. To top it off, they dropped off a very nice complimentary breakfast nestled in a basket at our door allowing us to enjoy the suite to the last possible moment. This is a must stay……

“Historical building with upgraded rooms. Clean and comfortable. There was a portable AC in room. Mineral pools are private and clean usage on first come first serve. No extra charge. Robes and towels provided. There is a restaurant but prices seam a little high. Live music on Thursday nights. Main Street close by. Public hot spring close by also. Front desk host was very friendly and informative. ”
