“I booked for my 30th birthday with a small group of friends for two nights and we had an absolute blast. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful tucked away private bush spot. Nothing to fault everything was as described. I definitely recommend this location for a private getaway, thanks again. ”

We wished we could have stayed for much longer than 2 nights and explore more of the bushland.A tranquil place in the middle of pristine nature with beautiful wildlife. We will remember the breakfasts at the terrace in the presence of lorikeets and crimson reds. Nice relaxing atmosphere with lovely neighbors.”

We loved the short walks with our 4yo to the river for a swim, or morning visitors on the deck and the relaxing ambience of the environment. It was wonderful, the accommodation was very well equipped and had everything we needed and the perfect amount of space for our small family. ”

“We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more. The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on……

“This house has everything a large or small family needs. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. They even have toys our kids were very entertained. The games room is another plus, we will definitely be planning to stay again.”

“This property was awesome and the photos don't do it justice. It was in a quiet and relaxing area with a tranquil outlook. The only thing we could fault was that the dining tables were for 6 seats only and the property catered for 8 people. In saying that, there was alternative seating close by. Other than this there was everything you would need for your stay with a well appointed kitchen and entertaining areas. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this. There was only one bed made up for two single people. I thought there……
