This is a very new hotel with excellent facilities and a great accommodation environment. Compared to some older hotels, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel features hot water pools (not sure if they are hot springs), but the design and facilities are significantly better than the famous Upper Hot Springs. Built against the mountain, the hotel appears to have four separate buildings, but they are conveniently connected by a corridor on the fourth floor. Located at the entrance of the town, it is right across from a gas station, a convenience store, and a fast-food restaurant that stays open until 10 PM. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is decent. Dinner portions are generous, though the variety is limited. Breakfast, however, requires a longer wait. The staff are friendly and approachable. Overall, this hotel provided a great accommodation experience.

The hotel seemed brand new and modern. The staff was friendly. It's located at the edge of the small Banff town, which is OK if you, like us, don't mind walking. But we where also provided with free city bus passes for the duration of the stay. A couple of smaller issues were that our room was facing the rooms of another part of the hotel and we had to keep the blinds down in the evening. The toilet had a problem with the flushing mechanism.

The font desk staff were just okay (paid for superior view but the first room was not and had to ask the front desk to move us when many rooms were not booked- not great service) but the staff at the restaurant were amazing! We stayed at Canoe and Suites in Banff for two nights and had a great experience overall. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was definitely the hot pool with stunning mountain views—a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to downtown Banff or Sulphur Mountain, making transit super easy. The only downside was the limited menu at their in-house restaurant, Sudden Sally, but the good news is there are plenty of dining options nearby to choose from. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Banff!

This hotel is so beautiful. Very cozy and romantic. I was disappointed by the very loud noise of the train couple times during the night though, if you are not a light sleeper and dont mind waking up to the train honk then this hotel would be perfect for you.

This is the best property, to stay in Banff, with beautiful views and rooms are super tidy and clean, room service and staff are excellent and super professional, I forgot my AirPods on bed , they didn’t touch them and left a note saying, we are happy to come back and change the sheets. Great location and the free shuttle made it very easy to get in and out from the main roads. We ate at the resturant on site and views were amazing. Id highly recommend and would stay back again. The hottub outside was amazing, and views are insane from the room balcony !

We had the best experience at Canoe. Olathe view is extremely beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made my birthday super special. I would Luke to thank you guys for the hospitality. I would highly recommend this property.

The mountain view king room had the most amazing view and a huge balcony. The ladies at the reception desk were so kind and knowledgeable. Easy check-in and check-out. The roof top hot tubs are awesome!
