We had the most magical stay at the resort. We stayed here for our 16th wedding anniversary trip and chose the hotel due to its heated pools on the rooftop. Service was amazing. The room was comfy and the views were just amazing.

Loved pools and heated floor! Sauna with a mountain view. Must be short staffed like most of service industries. Pickup your morning tea/coffee yourself as preorder via room service is unreliable. (We thought it would come eventually so didn’t call room service. Get staff in trouble) Open concept lobby makes it hard for staff and guest to hear each other. Staff is great, location great, free bus!

We stayed that the otter hotel and it exceeded our expectations! 29th birthday trip to banff and it had everything we needed, location was perfect getting in and out of town, the hotel bar was amazing and the staff was super friendly and had a lovely time at the hot pools every night staring at the gorgeous Mountain View’s! Sudden Sally’s next door was amazing for coffee before getting our day started! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

The room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. The thermostat was on the lowest setting of 18.5C, it wouldn’t let us go lower. The heater is directly below the window and kept turning on when we had the window open. We’d try to get fresh cool air and get blasted in the face with heat, but if we tried closing everything it got humid and stuffy. We loved the hot tubs and provided robes. The pillows were some of the best I’ve used in hotels.

The Otter Hotel in Banff provided an absolutely amazing stay for our family! This newly built hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the charming town of Banff; we loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Plus, transportation was super convenient right outside the door. One of the highlights was the incredible complimentary coffee in the room – waking up to the rich aroma of dark roast was a fantastic start to each day, and our girls were thrilled with their delicious hot chocolate. Our room was wonderfully comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows, and the amenities were just right for the type of hotel. Spending time in the hot pool outside was a real treat, allowing us to relax without feeling the cold. And I can't forget Good Folk, the hotel's restaurant, which served up delicious food and offered fantastic service. We will absolutely be back to the Otter Hotel on our next Banff adventure!

It was really good experience. They are located in very nice place not too far from downtown and they offer free transit pass to go around banff. The staff is very kind and accommodating. I wish they have Indoor pool for kids and adult because the hot pool outside was too hot, you can barely sit for 10-15 minutes. Overall it was nice place to stay.
