A pleasant stay

Good location, nice staff (although the lady could not really speak English), clean room and comfy bed, shower is good with hot water, but the fridge seems to be broken and it would be good for travellers with minimal luggage since the building does not have elevator

Adorei o hotel e o atendimento da moça da recepção, apesar de não falar inglês, ela foi muito simpática e querida. Só tive um problema, que na hora de sair do hotel, senti um cheio muito forte de esgoto.

This is a small, slightly rough, hidden gem. The hotel is well maintained and still looks recently renovated except for minor blemishes. The rooms are clean and consistent with the pictures but some updates are necessary. For example, my room did not have a refrigerator which, to be fair, is not mentioned in the room description but is shown in the pictures. Hangers and the kettle were also missing, despite the presence of a small wardrobe and complimentary instant coffee. The receptionist is a super nice old lady who does everything she can to help but does not speak English, and using a translator app only went so far. However, the manager answered my inquiries through the Orbits app promptly and provided the missing amenities. Allegedly the refrigerators were been repaired and temporarily unavailable in all the rooms, or at least any available room since another guest told me he had one. The "24-hour front desk" listing is a bit of an overstatement. The receptionist lives on site and is indeed reachable 24/7 by phone or by ringing the bell, but I wouldn't feel comfortable knocking at her door late at night unless it was a real emergency. I think "on-site house keeping" would be a better description. All in all this is a good guesthouse and I will be happy to return, but I hope they add a night time concierge, improve the amenities a little and maybe have an English speaker available by messaging app at check-in.

Amazing location, pleasant stay

The place is located in the core of Bangkok, near EmSphere. The location is amazing, because it is between Asok and Phrom Phong. I have been in both rooms. The normal one and the deluxe. The deluxe is much more spacious and on one side there a giant glass window, and a lot of natural light. The normal room I was in didn't have any natural light, but that may depend by the floor you are in. Anyway, I spent only one night in the normal room, and a few in the deluxe. The shower does not use one of these cheap electric heaters, instead there must be a centralised boiler or something like that. The water pressure is good, and I had many pleasant showers. The furnitures look outdated, but the bed is comfortable. I recommend the hotel for a short stay, up to a week, and in particular the deluxe room. There is no room service. Laundry service is offered for a charge. They have a washing machine and a dryer just in front of the entrance. Unfortunately here is no a lift and the stairs are steep and dangerous. The receptionist/cleaner does not speak a single word of English, and you will have to use the translator to interact with her. Overall I had a pleasant stay I feel recommending the place.
