Beautiful views

Great sunsets. Nice pool, sauna, hot tub. Parking is easy - shuttles run continuously when lower lots are needed, or you can do a short walk. Can easily walk to top of sugar mtn resort which is much faster than taking the free bus. .

Property was nice, Vacasa Management NOT

Check-in time is 4pm, at 4:25 Vacasa management called to tell me the check in is delayed to 6pm (this interfered with all our evening plans) and there's "nothing we can do about it." I requested a partial refund and to be notified ASAP when the property would be ready. Never received a call back or any communication from Vacasa regarding the issue. Since we were already at the property (condo building), we decided to see if it was ready at 5 and it was. When I called Vacasa back to discuss the issue the agent tried to tell me that "check in times just START at 4, not always right at 4". I was baffled. I personally am a STR host/owner of over 8 years and four properties and I have NEVER told a guest their check in time was variable. I told him thats a lie and my contract states 4p check in. they clearly knew BEFORE that time it wasn't going to be ready but waited until AFTER 4 to tell us then never followed up. It's truly frustrating that large management companies can get away with things like this. I most definitely understand things happen and sometimes housekeeping can get behind (again, been doing this a long time as well) but the way it was handled was unacceptable. To some reading, this may seem like not a big deal. But this is exactly the kind of thing big companies need to address and I'm sure the actual owners of the property would be disappointed to know how it was handled, We will only be renting from small private owners from now on.

Great location and views

We had a great stay at this facility. This place had amenities for 4 people. We had read that and brought extra towels which helped. We had amazing views from the balcony. The family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room had games that the kids enjoyed playing. This was a great central location to many hiking trails that we enjoyed during our stay.

Good location

Condo is in a great location. The shuttle service was great. Was very dirty. Under the beds and floor was dirty. Some dishes were dirty from previous usage. Not as clean as you would expect. Not enough towels for the unit. Had to share and wash towels for everyone to be able to shower but did not have enough hot water for everyone to shower anyways. . Hot water only would last enough for only one person to shower. Contacted owner regarding hot water issue without a response.

Mid week stay

Shuttle service to get to resort was inconvenient and unexpected. Room was pretty much as shown on photos, great view of mountain. It was lacking in some kitchen amenities such as paper towels and pepper. Some areas looked not as clean as we are used to in similar properties. Slider was a bit treacherous, both my husband and child tripped on the way out due to it being a high double slider track and then a step down once you cleared the track. Overall opinion is it was ok.

Snow warning

One foot of snow with chains made the road to get here almost impossible. We arrived during a storm where even their shuttle bus could not take us from the parking lot to Sugar Top. We had to walk all our luggage with 3 kids in 12 inches of snow. Staff was not leaving for the week, and was unaware we would not be able to have access to food once we got up. Internet was down and residents warned us of potential power outages. We were not prepared because the description did not mention any of this. There was no shuttle to Sugar Mountain Monday-Thursday and with fear of not getting back up, we could not leave. It was not an enjoyable experience. The place was dusty with food behind couch cushions. No sheets for pull out bed. I was seriously unimpressed but even more unimpressed by the lack of description, warnings and response from management. Would not stay at Sugar Top again.

Nice condo, clean, great views

We had a great time at the property! Sunsets are gorgeous from the balcony, furniture is nice and they had everything we needed there for a short ski weekend. Shuttle situation is less than ideal when it's snowing but we were prepared for it from all the reviews. All the drivers were very nice and frequency of the shuttles wasn't terrible. Thanks!!

Just Wonderful

The property was wonderful, staff were wonderful and the view …… Spectacular!! The condo was clean and beautifully kept had all the items needed for cooking and the fireplace was 🌟🌟 I would highly recommend this property to everyone!! A Cozy Stay

It was a beautiful and clean condo. The view from the balcony was beautiful . We enjoyed having the fireplace! Kitchen minimally stocked but worked for our short stay. Could have had extra towels , if needed. I thought having to be shuttled up from a parking lot would be a negative but it went very smoothly. Never waited over just a few minutes for it to arrive and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Under construction

On July 10th we arrived at Sugar Top Mountain looking forward to another wonderful stay. We picked a unit. We spent the day unpacking for our 13 day stay...and food shopping. The next morning we went hiking...we received a call on our cell phone. A representative from Vacasa said...you have 30 minutes to vacate the unit because construction work is going to be done there and you need to be OUT! Exhausted from hiking we climbed up the mountain...( we are 69 and 71 years old)...to start quickly packing up our suitcases...and emptying the fridge of all of the food we had just bought yesterday! We were moved to an otherunit An important question is.....If construction was going to be done why did they have us move into a condo that we would have to move out the next day? We do not have the answer to that.....Nor, did anyone follow up from Vacasa and find out how they might make this up to us....or why this happened or simply a sorry.The only person who talked to and tried to help us was Bobby, but the was not in control of the situation. Unfortunately that is not the end of our story. After putting everything away in our "new" unit....we were quite distressed to find out that not only was the previous unit experiencing construction but ...it was the building itself that was in Construction. The amount of noise was intolerable.....everyday there were workers on scaffolds working on the outside of the building....and on the balcony starting at 8 am and they were visible in our

fantastic condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We had everything we needed for cooking-pots, pans, utensils, spices, etc. The furnishings were very nice as well and were as pictured. We would definitely stay here again! Building maintenance was being done on the outside of the building during our stay, which started early and was loud, but that was not a reflection on the condo unit itself and is only an issue if you are staying over the next few weeks.
