“First, you must have a car if you plan to stay in Haro. Transportation, including taxis, are extremely limited and difficult to use. This fact is even more so if you stay at Hotel ITC Ciudad de Haro. This hotel is about a 25-minute walk uphill to the downtown area and you must cross a highway, which we were told multiple times is officially illegal. If you do have a car, this hotel is perfectly fine for a few nights, especially if you consider the cost. It is a great value. That said, don't……

“When we arrived, the hotel did not have our booking. Luckily they had a room as they were not full. The staff were very friendly but told us they do not deal with hotels.com. I don’t know if this is the fault of the hotel or hotels.com but if you have booked through hotels.com, I would suggest you contact the hotel to confirm. ”

“Very nice, light, spacious, clean apartment recently renovated and 5min walk from Calle Laurel. No reception - the check-in and arrival process is all explained through email and WhatsApp and you perform a self check-in to receive the room card in an electronic kiosk - but this all worked flawlessly and in case of questions etc. the response through WhatsApp or via calling was excellent. I booked parking too which is right next door and access works with the same room card. Highly recommended……

Santo Domingo de la Calzada es un pueblito muy pintoresco y pequeñito, por lo que la ubicación del hospedaje es perfecta, alrededor tienes locales con restaurantes, terrazas para tomar algo, boutiques, farmacias, lo que requieras, todo a pie a 5 minutos. “Everything was perfect. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and extremely peaceful in the evenings. It was the perfect place to spend a weekend. Short drive to Haro and easy parking. Wine tastings available and apartment is large and equipped with everything you need. Very spacious private patio to spend the evenings. I can't wait to return. ”
