I'm glad I read the reviews regarding the difficulty in finding the place as there is not a visible check-in desk from the front entrance. Yes, the elevator is small but not an issue for us. Two people at a time with luggage. If using the elevator, push the #3 button and take the elevator up. Step out of the elevator, go right and you will see the door with a sign and button on the wall. Push the button and the nice staff member will let you in. We really enjoyed staying at Fontanella by BCN URBAN ROOMS. The staff was very friendly and our room was available upon arrival. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. We wanted to stay in a hotel that was walking distance to everything we needed and this was perfect. Lively and lovely city of Barcelona. Thank you!

No es un hotel como tal, es un edificio y solo un piso son habitaciones. Un poco escondido pero lo encontramos. El personal solo te da el acceso y los códigos para que entrar al edificio y a las habitaciones pero no los vuelves a ver. Solo estuve una noche, pero la habitación estaba limpia y parecía segura. Lo mejor es que esta en el centro de Barcelona y puedes moverte fácilmente.

Me gustó las habitaciones muy organizadas. Se ve que recién fueron remodeladas. Me gustaría que adicionaran una silla para sentarse. No me gustó el acceso hay que subir un piso de escalas y luego cojer un ascensor viejo que da mucha inseguridad. No hay aire acondicionado así que no recomiendo para el verano porque ahora en la primavera se seintia calor en la habitación aún durmiendo con la ventana abierta.

La ubicacion es excelente. Super centrico y cerca de todo. Los cuartos y baños son comodos. La entrada facil. El elevador es muy pequeño pero siempre esta vacio. Para resolver temas el tiempo de respuesta es poco lenta pero al final resuelven. Lo volveria a escoger.

This is not a hotel, doesn’t have a lobby. There is no one at the reception for most of the time. Rooms are very small and they smell really bad. There are at least 10 stairs before you get to the elevator. The elevator is too small to fit even a stroller.

Great aparthotel, centeal location

We were travelling as a family of 3 (my sister and 9yr old son), as we were two women with a child and heard so much about pick pocketing in Barcelona, we didn’t want an apartment but an apart hotel so there was concierge. It was a bit tricky to find and it was the top floor of a building but there was a lift. The reception area was really clean and smelt really nice. We like the fact that everything was key codes so we didn’t have to worry about keys. In our room we had a large double bed and 2 single beds. The en suite was big and had a nice, large shower. The room was good size for 3 of us and had a safe and a fridge. We didn’t want all the frills of the hotel but this was perfect for a city break, we hardly spent much time in it as we were out early every morning and didn’t come back until late at night after dinner. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned really well every day. Would definitely recommend for a city break as it’s right off the placa catalunya, the airport bus drops you off there and it’s a 5min walk to la rambles. Great transport links for the city buses, metro and tourist buses

Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung war modern und neu. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber wir waren sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs. Die Lage ist super, direkt um die Ecke zum Place de la Catalunya. Super Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Einchecken total unkompliziert mit Code. Für einen kurzen Städtetrip ok. Uns hat es völlig ausgereicht.

kleines aber feines Hostel im Stadtzentrum gleich beim Plaza Catalunya. Das Zimmer ist eher klein aber es hat alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht, es ist sauber und gepflegt und auch sehr ruhig. Diverse Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten in nächster Umgebung.
