The hotel and staff were excellent! There is a fair amount of construction going on presently in the area which creates traffic and walking challenges due to the sidewalks being worked on (wider) and single lane roads. But the hotel is excellent and construction should be done shortly.

So noisy. There was building work outside which is not a fault of the hotel but even without that you can hear everything from outside. The interior walls do seem to be sound proofed but the windows let in so much noise. We paid extra for this and it really was a shame as we’re woken by bin collections and people talking when drunk in the early hours. The hotel itself is clean and in a great location.

The property was lovely and on the corner but the construction was right outside our room, they worked from 10pm til 4:30 am every night and it was so loud and you could hear the people outside on the street like they were tiny next door, I didn’t sleep well at all.

Stayed here for three nights - hotel in a great location- felt safe when we went out at night . Breakfast was lovely and we had a nice twin room . Yes there is building work but didn’t affect us even though our room 506 was roadside . Would highly recommend for the staff , location and breakfast -slightly disappointed the roof terrace wasn’t open

We asked everywhere from this property. Great dining options were 5 mins away with a grocery market right across the street. The gothic area was a great place to meet up with the tours we booked as they started and stopped in the nearby area.

Amazing location for walking the gothic quarter. Great but pricey breakfast buffet and yet it was still worth it. The room was spacious but it was more fashion over function. Stiff mattress. Shower floor was like cobblestone and hard on my feet. Shower only had a half glass partition so the bathroom floor would get soaked. They only give you one all in one ambiguous “shampoo/body wash” no conditioner. So that was weird. Loud construction during the day and garbage trucks in the middle of the night. I was so tired from walking all day that I slept through it. Although most hotels in downtown Barcelona will probably be loud. So it is what it is.

This place is super convenient! It’s right in the heart of everything, with shops and restaurants just a stone’s throw away. You can hop on the subway in a few minutes and get to anywhere you need to go. And if you’re feeling adventurous, there’s a 10-minute walk to the beach. Oh, and there’s even a cozy coffee shop right next to the hotel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all within walking distance of the hotel. The only downside is that there’s some road construction in front of the hotel, but don’t worry, the hotel itself was not under construction and it’s still a lovely and quiet place to stay. The building is beautiful, and the views are absolutely stunning.
