Wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erlaufen. Hotel bietet Bar an mit einer schönen kleinen Dachterrasse und Blick über Barcelona. Hotel bietet über die Woche verschiedene Veranstaltungen an, wie z. B. kostenloses Bier Tasting, Live Musik, Wein Tasting. Frühstück war reichhaltig. Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Koffer können in Schließfächern zwischengelagert werden. Zimmer „Life“ war ausreichen groß, mit Safe und Föhn und Shampoo/Duschgel Spendern. In der Nähe Super Auswahl an Restaurants. Für Städtetrip auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Clean room, close to the arc triomf where you can easily catch the metro or bus to take you somewhere more far. The city center is in walkable distance. The rooftop is nice to relax, even has a pool (sadly didn‘t had the chance to test it myself). In the morning the breakfast is served in the room close to the rooftop, in the afternoon could also just make a siesta here, I used the time before my flight to soak up some sun on the rooftop and then to charge my phone inside before heading to the airport which really was a relaxing way to spend the last hours.

Very loud at night from outside . We didn’t feel safe to walk around at night . Bathrooms floors needs asap renovation . It is not a 4 star hotel comparing to another 4 star hotels around the world and Barcelona . I stayed previously in 4 star hotel in Barcelona and that was a 4 star hotel … not this one

Homeless people sleeping outside hotel screaming and shouting at night . Also Barcelona is very smelly overall unsure if it’s the drains but the smell is very bad in Barcelona

Hotel REC is the perfect base for exploring Barcelona. There's loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance with bus stops and metro station within a few minutes' walk. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but the receptionist who checked us in was lovely and helped us get our safe working. The room was spotless, huge bed, the shower, toilet and sink were all separate, so really practical and there were loads of sockets for electrical items. The safe in the room was free. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice of meat, scrambled eggs, 3 different cereals, toast and baked goods, yogurts and was slightly different each day. The pool and bar were fun. On Saturday 20th there was a fantastic singer/keyboard player in the bar. She played and sang beautifully with a mix of English and Spanish songs. The hotel were happy to store luggage for us on the last day. They have a room with different size lockers (big enough for suitcases) and we got a card that unlocked it. I'd highly recommend staying here to explore Barcelona.

Die Unterkunft insgesamt war toll. Einzige Sorge die wir hatten, wir haben an einem Morgen das DND Schild a die Tür gehangen damit unser Zimmer nicht gereinigt wird, da wir nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt hatten. Wir sind an dem Tag spontan mittags zurückgekommen und haben gesehen wie die Putzfrau das DND wieder zurück a die Tür gehangen hat und uns nur angeschaut hat. Sie hatte uns am Morgen noch gefragt ob wir Zimmer Service brauchten und wir hatten ausdrücklich verneint. Ob sie drin war wissen wir nicht. Ansonsten können wir uns nicht beklagen. Die Terrasse oben ist schön mit einer tollen Aussicht und in der Nähe befinden sich viele schöne Geschäfte und Läden. Man kommt einfach zum Flughafen und zu unterschiedlichen Touristischen Attraktionen

Great hotel in superb location, just across from Arc De Trimophe and edge of Gothic Quarter, 10 mins walk to beach. Location is ideal. Rooms very clean, huge beds and such comfortable pillows! Staff very friendly and super helpful!
