The hotel did not live up to a 4 star standard. It has the potential to be a really great hotel but I'm afraid a couple of aspects really let it down. First off there is no shampoo/conditioner or body wash in the rooms. This has become a standard in most hotels so I was quite surprised not to find this. Secondly and perhaps most importantly the room has no air conditioning. They turn it off in the winter and it only blows out hot air. So the result is a really hot room. The only "help" they give you is to tell you to open a window. Which yes cools the room down but makes it impossible to sleep given the noise from outside.
The spa, whilst nice, is not well managed. You have to book, but there were far too many people in it in the days we used it. There were guests not wearing their hair coverings and some even stripping down to just bikini bottoms to take selfies in the pool. And kids dove bombing into the pool.
On the positive side, breakfast was good, dinner was pretty nice and the service in the restaurant was excellent.
I wouldn't stay again given the distance from the city centre and the issues with the hotel.
