Bar was closed both on the roof and in the lobby. The rooms are nice. There are limited amenities in the rooms, however. No tissues, no toothbrushes or toothpaste. However the breakfast is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms have some interesting features but this can be unhelpful. No actual mirror at the basin makes shaving safely and easily an impossibility. WiFi was patchy in my room at the corner of the property. Towels are very soft and fluffy. TV only has Spanish channels, that’s ok, but has a standby light so bright I had to use a jacket to cover it up.

A Shangri-La price for an upscale Holiday Inn. The kettle in the room was leaking, water costs an arm and the hotel doesn’t have tissues. The housekeeping doesn’t refill soap. It’s money for everything at the place but it is a cute looking hotel.

I made the mistake to book a room with city view …the problem : you can’t open the curtains cause from opposite everybody could look in and see you naked under shower ! It would be easy to change it: do a mirrorfilm in these windows - from outside nobody can look in but you can look out. Minus 1. housekeeping was not good …a took ages to tidy up the room …on 1 day leaving at 10am …room was not ready again at 4.30 pm …next day nearly the same 2. the rooms all are very noisy …you hear spoken words in the corridors, from the rooms beside, doors making terrible noises 3. there are no toilettbrushes in the rooms - why? It’s not nice for the customers and I think also not nice for the housekeepers 4. part of the stuff seems not really liking there job, better not ask anything Plus: 1. rooms are nice big enough, nice bathroom area 2. the guy who checked me in was super friendly and extrem helpful 3. the hotel well located - you can walk everywhere very quick

The entire front desk staff including the managers need to go to a training for customer service. They hardly smile and they have new trainees that they cannot handle even small stuff. The single room that I had was opening to a concrete wall and it was so small and claustrophobic. The manager offered me a free breakfast and the receptionist was trying to eliminate it on the day of check out. The hotel location is really great but one needs to look at other options before reserving a room here. The guy serving breakfast looks so unhappy and unfriendly. Why do you stay in a job that you don’t like? I had noise issues from the ceiling and the phone was not working. The only nice staff was the maintenance guy and he was very professional. He fixed the problems. The cleaning standards are not very high. Overall very disappointed and never again.

Very good location, just 50m from metro red line Rocafort station which made our trip much easier. Quick check in. Friendly staff. Room good size. Nice shower. Plenty of bistro, restaurant and 24h mini supermarket around the area specially in the Universitat metro station which is quite live.
