We needed extra time to arrive, change, and navigate through rush hour traffic. The host graciously accommodated our early arrival. “We thoroughly enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay at the 1840 log cabin in Frederick. The home is a completely renovated and modernized log cabin that was very comfortable to stay in and located in a great location. The home is a short 10-12 minute walk downtown, but in a quiet area that is more relaxed with ample parking, etc... Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive. The cabin had great A/C and the kitchen was well stocked to include high quality appliances. We highly……

“Loved the room and the extras that was provided for us such as the coffee and hot chocolate. Areas were clean and well supplied. The only down fall was not communicating how to get to the guest room and where the lighting leading to area was. Sad the fireplace was down but loved that a replacement heater was provided. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”
