“We had a group of thirty-four people for a family vacation and had a blast. The host and the housekeeper were tremendously responsive to any small issues we had over the first few days. The kitchen was well stocked but could use more mugs for coffee/tea and additional forks for larger groups and the tea bags were past the best before date and should be replaced. Twelve bedrooms, each with their own bathroom was great. The pool, hot tubs, ping pong table, pool table, tennis court, and fire pit……

“The house was perfect for our holiday — comfortable and roomy with a gorgeous, peaceful view of the Green Mountains. Great deck with a BBQ and an outdoor eating setup. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were very nice. We appreciated the guidance in the visitor notebook about places to hike and god local restaurants. Alex was timely and helpful with our very few questions. I hope that we can return!”

“The Barn is one of the best STR we have ever stayed at. Perfect for a couple, room enough to spread out. Very tasteful decor and great amenities. Area activities to check out; So Vt Arts Center, Hildene, and a little more of a drive Robert Frost Stone House in Bennington and King Arthur Flour (flagship stire) in Norwich. Favorite restaurant Silver Fork (IMHO one of the best restaurants in New England and the Restaurant at Hill Farm has the best pizza.”

“This house was fantastic. We didn’t have the best weather this Memorial Day weekend but the house, pond and view made up for it. Jeremy stocked the house with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs from the resident chickens, bacon, snacks and so much more. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Our dog enjoyed watching the beautiful fish in the pond and visiting the chickens. We can’t wait to return!”

“Absolutely amazing stay. Even better than the pictures! There was a perfect amount of space for 25 people and so much to do. Only bummer was the mosquitos/may flies (not much that can be done about those) and that the pool was ultimately not heated due to weather. Otherwise, everything was as promised or better!”
