“This property worked well for our group of 9. The kids had their own room, which we could close off. There was plenty of room for us adults and plenty of room outside too. We enjoyed our time there. ”

“In our group of four couples, 4 of us turn 70 this year. Our first celebration was this weekend away, and the accomodation didn't disappoint. Very comfortable, lots of space - we were so lucky to get our booking, and Travis was most welcoming and helpful. The house is within easy reach of wineries for meals/tastings - we would recommend Kies in Lyndoch, Kersbrook Wines and Mt Bera. Would love to come back again when the weather allows us to make good use of the open fires, rather than the air……

“It is generally difficult to rent first class properties in the Australian countryside, away from the coast, This house is a beautiful property for a couple to spend a few days, I recommend it for any couple, The single bathroom would make it difficult for 2 couples”

“My booking got cancelled by the host on the day that I was about to arrive. Can you imagine all the stress that my family and I had been through trying to find a place to stay at the last minute? My holiday became a nightmare. Inadequate communication from the host, it always me trying to contact the host a day before the arrival date and on the day (we were driving from Melbourne to Adelaide). I tried to call many time but the host did not answer the phone and after sending text messages and……

“The sofa and recliner chair is stained with sweat/watermark and has an unpleasant odour. Shower area needs a deep clean. Lots of dried leaves and twigs on upstairs balcony. The house is lovely with great ammenities and kitchen utensils and crockery is complete, very convenient for families. The property just needs a big deep clean overall. ”

“It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has……
