“My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at Sue's peaceful retreat in the Adelaide Hills.It was close to everything we required and we thoroughly enjoyed the drive through the windy Hills/Barossa area.(Albeit that rain is desperately required.)It was always a joy to return to the beautifully presented, clean and comfortable accommodation to be greeted by TC the cat or on the odd occasion by Dusty the dog.Sue was a gracious host who made us feel very welcome on her property with the added bonus……

“Great two night stay in a beautifully presented property close to Peter Lehman (we were there for A Day on the Green). The only minor drawback for us, which I didn't pick up on when reading the description was that the accommodation was a studio (kitchen, dining, living and bedroom all in one), and the kitchen was limited to microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster (any washing up was done in bathroom), but for a short stay this isn't a big issue at all. ”

“Very convenient location, walking distance to the town. The kitchen is well equipped for doing light meals. The bed is very comfortable and overall the unit is clean. Overall a satisfactory stay if you’re prepared to overlook a couple of issues. However, the freezer section of the fridge was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the unit, possibly cooking smells from the adjoining unit which had a door, also every noise from that unit could be heard.. ”

“We were blown away by the attention to detail, the host went way above and beyond what is expected from a short term rental. Sour doe bread and butter, complimentary wine, some cured meats juice, breakfast stuff etc. Really pleasant to just arrive and be able to get stuck immediately into our wine discovery weekend.”
