“I booked this home for my husbands 30th surprise. The house is ideal for gatherings as there is no one for miles to disturb. This property can be seen from the road and looks amazing. Unfortunately some of the party struggled to sleep due to the bedding having a strong smell. Other than the bedding the house is clean. “Just had a wonderful 3 day stay in Ayr, the apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Ayr and the surrounding area, the host Fiona was great and made you feel welcome from the moment you are handed the keys. The apartment is spotless bright and comfortable.I will definitely be booking again.”

“A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find.”

“Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage.”

“Don't be fooled by the exterior. Once inside its a wonderful spacious house. Lots of little extras thought of. Automatic lights on stairway and air purifiers. Would not hesitate to stay again when we visit family in Girvan. ”

“Great location for the Ayr Festival that we were attending. The room was perfect for an overnight stay. We basically used the room to sleep in, so we never used any of the facilities or the restaurant. It would have been good to have a fan or air conditioning as it was very hot during the night ”
