“The Traut Cabin is an incredible VRBO property! The detail taken to make this cabin a “home away from home” superseded all expectations. Pictures do not capture the beautiful views from the cabin with justice. Breathtaking views in person! The location is central to so many adventures - Cody, Yellowstone, Bighorn Mountains…. Great attractions within a 5 mile radius too. You just have to watch for the clues via highway signs. We highly recommend the Traut Cabin!”

We wanted a place to stay on our way out of Yellowstone, yet close to Cody so we could attend the rodeo. It was about a 40 minute drive to Cody. Check in was very easy and had good communication with Sara. ”

This cabin was PERFECT!Very spacious family room area, huge bedrooms, plenty of room to park our truck and trailer, grassed backyard, & a sweet front porch for morning coffee & evening drinks. “My wife and I took our first trip out west to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Wyoming is beautiful and this setting is perfect location for exploring the natural history and beauty of this state. We ventured to Yellowstone and into other adjacent parks. We had wild turkey at our door, we watched the prong horn graze in the alfalfa we even had one come right up to the house one evening. the sky never seems to end and the moon rise was breath taking.
