“We wanted to check out South Carolina as a possible destination to visit and/or move when a house came up for sale that was a possibility. We found this VRBO available; contacted the owner & had a very easy time obtaining accommodations which were a serene setting and a much needed laid back change of pace allowing for a mental and physical recharge with the Canadian geese, egrets and space to walk our dogs with room to breathe! I can not thank them enough for allowing us to visit their little……

“This home has lots of character. Lots of windows and a good heater. The kitchen has plenty of counter space.I came in late on my first night and could not use the key pad - it was too dark....porch light not on. Plus, I had not received the code. There appears to be communication issues between Vrbo USA and Vrbo Canada. I got in the next day. No email information had been shared. Two more days passed before property owner responded with the information. Vrbo had been trying to contact him……

“The house was wonderful and clean! We spent the weekend enjoying the kayaks and paddle board. My boys (ages 9 and 11) loved the lake, air hockey table, and foosball table! It was a little far from any restaurants but it was worth it to be in a quiet cove! The host was awesome to communicate with and so helpful!”

“We really enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to visiting again. Marianne is a wonderful host and made herself available whenever we had questions. The cottage is well appointed and cozy! Enjoyed coffee along with stunning sunrises in the morning, and cocktails and sunsets in the evening on the back deck. Be sure to walk around the property, you may come across a deer or fox, so be sure to bring your hiking boots and binoculars!”

“I was competing at stable view for an event and we had our parents in town and their dogs. Cristy welcomed the four of us, the two dogs, the horse and the parrot into the mimosa cottage and we all had such a great stay. My horse was so happy in the stall and in the pasture she let us use. 10/10”
