“The property was easy to access, well-maintained, clean. The owner responded quickly to any questions that we had. We mainly just used the residence to sleep in at night as we were enjoying Baton Rouge; however, we did notice when we were in the house during the day, the thermostat was set to 77. I would say, as long as you don't plan on spending extended time in the house during the day (especially during the summer), this is the place to stay.”

“Very old part of town, so small roads--I don't recommend bringing your dually pickup. We walked the area & everyone we met was very friendly. We enjoyed looking at the eclectic collection of homes and Mardi Gras themes people had set up in yards and on porches.Patrick was a great host and very responsive to our questions. I just wish we'd had more time to explore the area.”

“We came to Baton Rouge for a family reunion. There were 7 including me -- my nephew, great nephew and his partner and son, and my great niece and her husband. They live in GA. I live in FL. I don't get to be with them frequently. Staying in the house meant we were with each other and have privacy when wanted. The four bedrooms are upstairs. The 4th bathroom was downstairs. “The house is very comfortable. It is not a new build or cookie cutter rental, but is very clean and very family friendly. The neighborhood was full of friendly families that were quick to give hello greetings in passing. Very quiet area and reasonable distance to everything in the city and just over an hour from the french corridor in new orleans. There was a tv with a roku in every room and very solid wifi. The ac worked great in the 90 degree heat. There was no crib but the host on a minutes……
