Unwind in lakes country just outside of Battle Lake at this charming house. With 4 bedrooms including a king bed, 2 queen beds, and more, guests will find a cozy retreat here. The property offers amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine and dryer for an enjoyable stay. Relax in the lovely surroundings and make the most of your time in Battle Lake at our lakefront house. Includes 32' dock with an 8x8 platform with a bench. Perfect area for swimming and floating in Lake Ethal. Only an 8 min. Drive to Battle Lake and a 10 min drive to Ottertail. Ottertail Lake is just 5min. away.

Cozy Aframe

We enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s Aframe. From the very beginning her communication with us was informative and helpful. We found the house as advertised and enjoyed all the amenities.The kitchen is sufficient, and we loved the beautiful little lake and the fire pit.

Wedding weekend

We got married this past weekend at the 1910 sip house. The a frame was the perfect place to stay and it offered easy access to our wedding venue, and allowed our kids a place of rest and escape from the busy events.

Great times!

Always a perfect stay..

This is our 2nd year at the A Frame and we’ve already booked for next summer. We just love staying here. The cabin is clean, well stocked with everything you should need, the beds are so comfortable, wifi/tv, AC, tons of great lake toys, a great swimming area, and an awesome fire pit. Melissa is always super great to communicate with and is so kind and accommodating. A+/5 stars/2 thumbs up!

Peaceful Relaxation at its Best!

The A-Frame Lake Home was absolutely amazing. Very well decorated and stocked with more than we could ever need from the linens and kitchen items to the games and comfy beds and furniture. We loved it and of course we wanted to stay. Plenty of parking and the fishing was great! We will definitely be back! Great Hosts. Many Thanks.

Amazing cabin and host!

We loved our stay at this cabin. The description and pictures of this property not do it justice. Perfect amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids, it could probably comfortable fit more. The kids always had something to do, one is 3 and the other is 12. They were never board. The communication with the host was wonderful and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely, quiet, great stay!

My family of 4 stayed at the A Frame for 6 nights and we had a wonderful stay. The property owner, Melissa, communicated with us from start to finish and responded quickly if we had any questions. She was really kind and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. They left us a couple of gift cards to some local spots which was really cool. The house is exactly as advertised. So cozy, comfortable, nice and cool, and the beds and linens were comfortable too. The kitchen was well stocked. My 4 year old enjoyed the blocks, toys, and puzzles that were provided. The shed was stocked with floaties, yard games, paddle board, etc which was a really nice bonus. I don’t like coming from out of state and having to constantly buy sand toys, life jackets, and floats so I really appreciated this! The fire pit was awesome and was used by us almost every night. Tons of beach towels were available as well. I think the thing we liked the most was just how quiet it was. No constant noise of yard work/blowers and the lake was filled with jet skis and boats. It was quiet allllll day and we appreciated that so much. Washer and dryer is a must for us and they have a nice set at this place and they had laundry soap/dryer sheets which was nice that I didn’t have to buy that for a short trip. The beach was lovely and very sandy. They have canoes and a paddle boat for use and a ton of sand toys (and a small slide) for the littles. We come to Minnesota every summer to see my family and we always pick a new lake to stay But we were very happy with this place so we’ve already booked for next summer. Fingers crossed it’s just as wonderful next year.

Cute Cabin!

Melissa the host is amazing is to work with! She is very responsive to any questions or concerns you have. The cabin is in a great location and completely stocked with everything you need- games, towels, etc. The cabin is super cute and clean with enough bedrooms and baths to accommodate up to 2 families or more. It has a small sandy beach for swimming or fishing off dock, kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. We had a wonderful time staying here and are already booked for next year!

Still Smiling

This Vacation was among the best family time we have had. Mom and Dad, 2 Sons/Daughters in law 3 Grandkids all love this Vacation Home. The A Frame was very well equipped and was just as described. Spending most of our time outside in the large beautiful park like yard. The lake landing/ dock was perfect too. The kids could continually catch little sunfish off the dock and adults caught the larger fish every time out on the lake. We have many relatives living in the Lake Region and they were also very impressed with this property when they came out to visit us. The local area supports family fun and retailers are the greatest. We highly recommend this property and have already rebooked for next year. Don't miss this one.

Great weekend at a wonderful retreat!

Matt and Melissa are wonderful hosts. They are very responsive and I couldn't ask for better people to deal with! The lake didn't have a lot of boating activity and the views are wonderful. If our family doesn't get any bigger we would love to stay again.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great stay (our second time staying here) in mid March. The cabin was perfect for 4 couples and we all had a great time. The location is perfect for visiting either Ottertail or Battle Lake and was great for hiking at the State park as well. The cidery down the road is a great spot to visit within walking distance. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room for 8 adults to hang out around the dining room table while playing cards at night. We will be back!

Adorable A Frame

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the A Frame. It’s cute and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It rained most of the weekend so we were glad it was such a fun place to hang out inside. We walked down the road to the 1910 Sip House both days to enjoy local hard ciders and the fun atmosphere. The host was great with communication. We would definitely stay again!

Great Rental

This rental was great! The owner was really nice and responsive. The cabin was clean and very nice. The lake was great for swimming with a small child. The cabin had a small basket of toys as well that our toddler love. The cabin is on a beautiful clear lake and the access was great. Very happy with this experience.

Great family getaway

We loved our stay at Jacks place! The sand area up by the house was perfect for the 4 year olds to play while we kept a watchful eye on them. The sand bar and shallow water was also perfect for us. The cabin worked out perfectly and was well stocked with the essentials. The only con? It’s booked up already for next Summer!
