Pour nous il était important de nous plonger dans ce moment d’histoire si important qui a sauver notre pays...et comprendre la chronologie et cette organisation exceptionnelle et extraordinaire des alliers pour préparer et effectuer le débarquement et rendre hommage à ceux qui y ont perdu la vie et ceux qui s,en sont sorti. ”

“We had a nice two days. Got local food at the market... closes at 8pm local. Another, Small village market had most items anyone wants. Very nice bakery and Liquor store. Beach, bar, cafe in walking distance. Camper park nearby.(juno beach) A short drive to Bayeux, Caen, Castles, and Normandy invasion beaches and museums. We had a great time. Owner speaks pretty good english. Thanks Girard!”

“This really is a beautiful gite. The standard of quality is really high. The bed was super comfy, everything in the gite worked perfectly and was spotlessly clean and modern. The patio was so pretty and ideal for food and drinks.it’s the ideal location for exploring the Normandy beaches. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it”

“Uns hat es bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten gut gefallen. Der Garten und die Lage sind traumhaft. Die Aussenanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es wäre schön, wenn die Gartenmöbel und auch die Stühle im Essbereich erneuert würden. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht.”

“The apartment is well located for the various beaches and the town of Bayeux. Arnaud and Jessica were great, welcoming us and making sure we were happy. Great space and well decorated with lots of amenities. The tennis court was a great addition for the end of the day and I’m sure the swimming pool would have been a hit if it was warmer. Thanks again ”

“Our family of 4 had an incredible 3 night stay at this cottage. It was spacious and lovely, and the open grass grounds were great for our boys to play after our days of visiting the D Day museums and sights. Benedicte and Marc greeted us with a warm welcome, fresh jam, and tons of brochures for things to do during our stay. Every recommendation they gave us was superb! We will definitely be back if ever in the area again, and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable,……

“A truly delightful house with a lot of French charm. Large kitchen, living room with fireplace and pool table, 3 bathrooms and a ton of bedrooms. A nice garden area in the back for relaxing. The home is pretty old but has been beautifully renovated. Catherine, the owner, lives next door and has 2 friendly dogs as well as ducks and chicken. Catherine was friendly and answered all questions quickly. Highly recommend!”

“This is a beautiful house with stunning grounds. The photos do not do it justice. It is very well resourced and the spacious roomsare furnished in the style of the property. The swimming pool was a big hit with our grandchildren as was the games room.”
