“This is a lovely small hotel with nicely decorated rooms. It was very quiet; we rarely saw other guests or staff, which made it feel nicely private. Breakfast, while simple, was perfectly adequate and actually available all day. The only thing I didn't like is that the bed is really high; I'm very short and could have used a small step stool to climb in with ! But it was very comfortable and we slept well. This was a nostalgic trip for us, as we used to own one of the houses next door (40 years……

“This is as good as it gets! Pictures don’t convey how peaceful, charming, and idyllic this cottage on the lake is.Orestes (and Spot, the Jack Russell terrier!) are the perfect hosts, as well. Friendly, down to earth, and made sure our stay was as good as can be. His weekend breakfasts were delicious, too!We highly recommend staying for a weekend (or longer!) getaway—you will definitely want to return. Five !”
